who said that he thinks Tressel is the second best coach in football, behind Pete Carroll. Got me thinking....

No links. No outsiders opinions. Who are your top 5 coaches in College football(currently coaching)?

R Rod can not go on my list after blowing a game to get into the BCS Championship game. I'd say, in no particular order:

Tubberville
Meyer
Carrol
Stoops
Tressel

Spurrier.......74% over 221 games. Any list that doesn't have him in the top 5 is bogus imo.

This is not 1997. Currently, Spurrier is probably not in the top 20.

Caroll
Tressell
Stoops
Brown
Saban

DickRod's a joke. You are a joke of a coach if you can't have your team beat a four TD underdog at home in a game that would send you to the NCG.

You're a joke of a critic if you judge coaches on their teams' performance in any one game.

In no particular order:

L. Miles, N. Saban, U. Meyer, Rich. R, Houston Nutt (yes) and B. Petrino. I would take any of the 6 to start my program.

P. Carroll: With all the 5***** recruits, geographical advantage and plays in a weak conference, Curley Hallman could have the same record.

Jim Tressel: Being the only top dog that competes in a weak conference showed when his team played big dogs from other conferences.

I would rank Rich R. over Carroll and Tressel also.

Well then, we'll see how DickRod does in this weak conference. BTW, I'd rather have a coach whose team's lose to the best and the best only, instead of a coach whose team loses at home to a team that doesn't even make a bowl.

What conferences are not weak besides the SEC? Jim Tressel's resume is fricking spectacular.

Oh, I get it now. You're a fricking moron.
