It's not really a shock that people, including me don't think Rinaldi and ESPN does "heartfelt pieces" out of the goodness of their heart.

You're talking about moral high grounds when I'm not the one that goes trolling for sad stories to put on gameday every weekend for a paycheck.

Rinaldi has a reputation at this point as the ESPN's dealer of sad stories and peddling misery. It's a reputation he's willingly taken on.

There's no use denying that and arguing against it.
