Anyone with empathy, compassion, and a basic understanding of mental issues should have some pity for him.

but this is the internet and it's funnier to laugh at people when they self-destruct, so no one will admit to feeling bad for the guy

This isn't a Delonte West situation where he is gravely disabled and incapable of coherent thought. West never lashed out or tried to hurt anyone.

Brown, on the other hand, is a giant a-hole who doesn't give 2 shits about anyone besides himself. He spits in the face of everyone around him, especially the people are looking out for his best interests. He has never uttered a word of remorse for his actions. That's a product of stupidity and pride, not psychiatric illness.
