You'd be dead within a week once the power was out and the fresh water runs out. Find a place with a cistern, I guess.

ETA: On second thought, if you can tap the storage tanks, you probably could survive a while. I take it back. Blow up the bridge and ride it out. You could post sentries along the bay side of the island and pick people off trying to cross via boat.

One of the nicer things about the Tennessee Valley is the abundance of creeks and streams. Now, you'll probably shite your brains out at first unless you're drinking from the Sipsey, but you'll survive. If you've got good filters and iodine, then you're golden.

It rains so damn much down there, fresh water would not be a problem.

Unfortunately I don’t have a stash of explosives to blow that big bridge.

The only option would be to block it, fortify it and guard it.
