Maybe. Georgia has two or three playoff and one champ game appearance I. The last five years.. until this year Georgia was considered a much better spot for a high ranked QB. Athens is a great town for a college kid.
Anyway we have broken out of our bad QB program reputation finally. Don’t think Williams goes to Georgia or Bama because of the depth chart. I do not know about the Oklahoma or Clemson QB room/depth chart. Don’t know,how Williams feels about the current LSU QB room. So we have a good shot.
Now that I think about it Clemson got the number one QB for,this cycle. So they are probably out on Williams.
We should at least get one of Nussmier and Williams.

Alabama kicked everyone’s teeth in for years and besides Tua has never done so with a true game changing qb recruit. They just dominated the lines to an enormous degree on both sides. Of course we aren’t really that far into Sabans change of heart on offense either. He coached way longer running the ball and living on defense than coming around to a more explosive offense being needed.
