I don't know why anyone wouldn't say Brady. He's the variable from the '18 offense to the '19 offense.

A bigger variable than Brady was Joe Burrow getting a full offseason with the WR’s and the new playbook. His lower results & stats in 2018 were a direct result of not having this 2 years ago, and we all saw when we switched to an offense Joe had rain since the 8th grade.

Happy for Joe Brady and Burrow, but LSU will survive. If you look at who held most of the offensive records prior to 2019 Coach E immediately raised the bar when he took over for Cam Cameron & Les Miles, but that change was long overdue.

LSU still needs to hire a great DC and. Coach for QB and receivers. The BR paper had a big write up on LSU and Aranda’s hires but made no mention of Coach O’s possible hires, now that’s crazy! Coach O wins the media.

Nobody ever gives Ensminger his credit for that 2016 offense. It was an absolute magic trick to do what he did mid season and break records in the process.
