Why not Baylor. Pretty good in the big 3 men's sports, great in WBB, and would give the conference an academic boost.

FSU also belings in the SEC.

It’s about the TV market and money. Nothing else.

Check the payout, they fit fine.

barely consider Arkansas and south carolina SEC teams

In today’s expansion of TV money, neither team would be invited to the SEC today like they were in 92.

Always funny to me the fans wanting to dump crappy teams and add really good ones. I mean, winning the SEC is already incredibly difficult. You want less of a shot to win national titles?

I just want east to be as balanced as west.

I’d prefer re-alignment. The imbalance is ridiculous and even if Tenn ever returns as a lower top 25 program, it will still be the case.

Bama
LSU
A&M
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Miss st
Mizzou (it sucks but who else could you switch geographically)

Florida
UGA
Auburn
Tenn
South Carolina
Kentucky
Vandy

GA Tech, though an original SEC member, seems as appealing as LA Tech as an opponent.

Tech would have never left the SEC if it weren't for the Bobby Dodd/Bear Bryant feud. Dodd grew tired of Bryant's over signing of recruits to keep players away from other schools in order to weaken the competition.

A&M didn’t seem like a good fit at first, but they’re certainly a more natural choice.

Mizzou? I understand why the SEC did it (wanted the KC and St. Louis TV markets), but even now, it feels like West Virginia would’ve been a better fit in the East.

I agree but Bobby Bowden & FSU's administration pussed out in 1992.

Yep, And Kramer already had a plan for the SECCG and USC was a last minute replacement.
Wish the SEC would do away with divisions have 3 team pods and top 2 teams meet for championship. Bama says no so that's it
