I'm pretty sure Edwards' byu teams were considered a WCO which would merge two of your categories.
One of the most consistent things said about both offenses(air raid & wco) is that they are simplistic and a coach can put his own twist on it that makes it look totally different.

The service academies run the flexbone, not the wishbone and it’s not hard to stop it if you play disciplined football. They win primarily when teams stop being disciplined or in the rare occasion that their Jimmies and Joes are better than their opponents.
