Damn I'd be all over that if I lived in Louisiana. Been playing this game since launch day... actually a day before official street launch. Season 19 I hit mid Platinum on Tank and Support (2720s) - what is the SR of a usual team? Just curious.

It's vastly different. My team is around Masters/GM but there are many teams I'm sure that are around Plat/Diamond/Gold.

Honestly I have competitive anxiety. I have 1000 hours on Overwatch (I'm a Gold border with almost 1 star), which doesn't include the tons of hours I put into some Arcade modes before they started tracking those stats too. Then once they did start tracking I stopped those modes so my stats wouldn't be skewed from dumb modes like Mystery Heroes. I still play a decent amount of No Limits and Total Mayhem for the weekly boxes during events though, and those don't track stats.
I only have 88 Comp hours but have placed in all 19 seasons - still finishing current season placements. I feel like I can get to Diamond but couldn't imagine being in Masters/GM.

Ahh, idk I've always played FPS games and shite. My team won two local LAN tourneys already this year, hoping for another!

I have too... I've been on CSGO a lot more than Overwatch and don't let that game tilt me. Nothing makes me angry quite like Overwatch. I'm almost 32 years old... been playing video games my whole life. Part of me does think I'm a bit too old to ever really get out of Platinum though. I just don't take the time to grind the ladder. I don't find competitive fun past 1-2 games, even if I'm winning. I'm sure having a full team would be different, but even when I just duo queue with a friend I usually find myself getting angry at their mistakes and I feel like some of them bring me down.
For instance my support is 2700s but a friend that likes to play with me is 2200s... there's a pretty big difference, IMO, in just that 500 SR gap. I get Diamonds in my games while he's getting Silvers. To the point where I just solo Q comp. So if I want to play with friends we're usually just doing Quick Play.

I found out that the best way to climb is to play one hero and get really good at it.
Secondly, communication and being friendly will definitely give you a bigger advantage when it comes to climbing
Thirdly, just play comp more and more and you'll eventually climb to masters :)
