So .... "bad white man, good black woman, conflicted bi black man" isn't a big ratings or subscription winner?

Go figure.

That's what happens when you make the protagonist a bi black man banging white caped crusading cuck up the pooper.

Times certainly are a changin.

HBO can foad.

Just think, without a second season we'll miss out on this sparkling banter.

That is neither what the show is about nor is it the reason why there won’t be a season two.

I didn't think it was a great show, but this is just ridiculous. Who is this bi protagonist you're talking about because I don't remember that.

Uh, did you watch the show? Hooded Justice was a married black man on the downlow. You know, the Klan hating black guy who loved to rail white guys in the arse. It's a common thing, all the black queers are looking for some whitey cheeks to take their aggression out on. It might be known as Don Lemon Syndrome.

Its not in HBO’s 1 season mini series type category, like The night Of. They intended to milk that cow, but dont want to do it without Damon so they gave up on making season 2. The show didn’t end on its own, it was canceled.

Hooded Justice was a secondary character at best, not the protagonist.

And as far as the show being a failure...

Watchmen is cable’s most watched new show of 2019

You missed out.

It ended on its own because the creator of the show decided the story was complete and walked away. That’s like saying The Sopranos was cancelled. HBO should have continued it without David Chase?

That being said, my bet is Lindelof will be back with a new season in 2-3 years. Too much money to be made.

Wow. I killed the thread. Weirdos with agendas done took their ball and went home. Funny how facts work.

It’s hilarious how much that show triggered the baws.

You have to be blatantly obtuse to think the show wasn’t well received. Sorry you couldn’t get past your stupid interpretation of the storyline.

Everybody says so.

Yes it did. The creator only wanted one season and created a completely self contained season of TV.

If he called them tomorrow and said he wanted to do season 2 it would be given all the budget he wanted.

If the show was a hit they'd do more seasons, period. Shows replace creatives all the time.

Wasnt worth trying in this case because the show got no traction.

Oh that must be why we have a new season of the Sopranos and the wire coming out this year
