That's the reason why every Republican governor is letting them in. Only state that isn't doing it is Texas and that's because they allowing 2100 Ilhan Omars a year isn't sustainable.
Why just make shite up?
Did aunt jenny FWD:FWD:FWD you this?
Texas is not alone in this.

Could you explain what you are talking about?
Texas is first state to stop accepting refugees under Trump order

I'll have to ask - a relative has bitched about it to me. GVegas is a small place, so there aren't many places it could be.

From State Auditor, Jim Zeigler's FB page. Wonder if he's positioning himself for a gubernatorial run?
quote:
Ivey remains noncommittal on refugee settlements in Alabama
Zeigler: "Alabama should see after our own veterans, elderly and disabled. It is disappointing that Gov. Ivey is having trouble with this decision. It is an easy decision -- NO MORE REFUGEES." __Jim Zeigler, State Auditor
YOUR HELP NEEDED NOW to stop further refugee settlement in Alabama
Please ask Gov. Kay Ivey to reject refugees under a new directive that allows this. Only Texas has done so. Use this form or call 334-242-7100.

You claimed “Texas was not alone in this.”
LINK
So that leaves 7 states that have yet to make a decision.
Are you prognosticating that at least one of those 7 will join Texas? What’s the deal?
quote:
Republican Gov. Greg Abbott said Friday that Texas will no longer consent to resettling refugees, making it the only state so far to opt out of the federal program that for years has sent the most refugees in the country here.
The decision puts Abbott in the minority, even within his own party: 42 states, including 17 led by Republican governors, have agreed to continue resettling refugees

quote:
Gov. Phil Byrant and eight other governors are quietly ending refugee resettlement in their states.
It's a part of another move by the administration of President Donald Trump that will cut the number of refugees coming to America — a number that Donald Trump has steadily slashed since taking office.
Under an executive order signed by Trump in September, states and localities are now required to provide written consent to the federal government if they want to continue accepting refugees.
ETA: It is incorrect actually, 7 governors are doing it quietly and there is 1 who chooses to grandstand, wonder which that could be.
Muh Texas

I doubt that's true for most of them. A majority probably just want a better life
You belong to a religion that considers the land you are moving to the great Satan. You move there anyway. You now have a choice whether to keep following that religion. You chose to keep following that religion and build mosques in your new home.
Yeah, sounds like wanting a better life to me. Hell, it’s practically Joel Osteen.
Wake up.
