even got late-night Taco Bell, and their Taco Bell served beer. Couldn't not get one.
The Taco Bell Cantina is closed now, unfortunately. Dickson Street is awesome but the rent has gotten so high now that a lot of the businesses that aren't already established don't last more than a year or two.

In both areas there are your standard chains, although Rogers is getting a Walk-Ons. Both have Raising Cane’s, but they are decorated with Hog stuff sadly.
Drew Brees is supposed to visit Rogers for the grand opening of Walk-On's in February. They announced a partnership with the University of Arkansas and Brandon Burlsworth foundation to support kids in disadvantaged situations (Burlsworth was a former Razorback walk-on turned all-american who was killed in a car wreck). Saltgrass Steakhouse and TopGolf are opening soon in the same area.

As others have said here it depends on what you're looking for. We live in Kansas City so it's only about a 3.5 hour drive.
In 2018 we went and stayed at an AirBnB in Bentonville, already have it booked again for 2020.
I generally prefer Bentonville to Fayetteville unless you are really looking for a bar scene.
Bentonville has a world class art museum (Crystal Bridges) a very decent kids museum and a several great restaurants. If you are into mountain biking it is a haven for that as well.
We brought our two kids (6 / 1) to the game last year and had a great time. Arkansas' facilities are nice and tickets are very affordable.
