What I’m explaining to you is that the Shah was toppled, because he wasn’t popular.
And these people, by and large, came from his circle.
They are unlikely to have much influence in Iran. Or a particularly good read on current events in Iran.
Wake me up when Iranian peasants are angry. That would actually mean something.
