Absolutely. The way he kept stringing Garrett along it was like Jerry would fire Garrett only if another coach agreed to come aboard to replace him.
If Jerry wasn't able to find a replacement he would keep Garrett for another year instead of firing Garrett and gamble on hiring some no name coordinator.

If he couldn't find a replacement? Are you joking? It's an NFL job. It's the Dallas cowboys. They had options, I promise.
