This, plus live sports ticket sales are declining. Pretty much every sport is struggling with fewer people attending games.

The idea that bowl games are big deals hasn't been too valid for a while. This has also been a bad year for compelling matchups.

I went to the Indy Bowl. The game was a snoozer but it was live football, and better than sitting around the house the day after Christmas. People are so lazy now they even forego things that might be enjoyable.
