I’ve always been a state’s rights guy.

However, I didn’t think about the possibility of liberals, foreigners, and liberal foreigners moving in in numbers to take over a state and squash the will of the state’s native population.

This is a tough one.

This is some modern day Pinkerton shite except this time the populace is armed to the teeth.

This gov needs to be removed from office before his virtue signaling gets his head blown off along with many more people.

States don't have rights, they have powers. It's the PEOPLE who have rights (as well as powers) - that are protected by governments.

See Articles 9 and 10:

quote:

Article [IX] (Amendment 9 - Unenumerated Rights)
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Article [X] (Amendment 10 - Reserved Powers)
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.


NO WHERE in the US Constitution does it ever refer to states as having any "rights". I've never understood how so many could get this so wrong for so long.
