Yes. Economically successful men have always been more likely to cheat too.
But for most of history, women got something out of those pairings. And. We set up legal frameworks basically institutionalizing this reality.
Remember. Men don't actually ever have children. They simply borrow them for as long as the woman is willing to stay.
That's why often in the past, men cheated but stayed.
Women bear no such risk when they cheat. They can one up the guy, be economically Superior, and STILL keep the kids and get child support.
Men have noticed. That's just rational. Not fear.
