He will slide into the OC spot when Ensminger retires. He needs that for his resume since he's young and hasn't held a coordinator position yet
Does he? If an NFL head coach is willing to hire him as his OC, then it would suggest that he doesn't need to slide into the OC spot at LSU to build his resume. I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. I would consider us very very lucky to have Joe Brady coaching at LSU next season.

If that's what he wants, then maybe so if the paycheck is right. Will an NFL head coach pull this guy in with no previous coordinator experience as the guy to help him keep his newly minted head coach job>? Maybe... If he stays at LSU he can keep the "shine" on his career until a "dream" spot opens. Will just have to see what his goals are.
But the Joe Brady name is hot so if he jumps now and fails, then the luster is lost.
Joe will have to choose wisely or he could ruin his future if he's not ready.
