He looked good vs the shitty teams they played. Vs good ones not so much a stat to be seen.

Young is a good talent but in the 3 significant opponents I watched him face, he’s wayyy overrated.
Heisman worthy?? AU had defensive players more worthy of the NY visit IMO.

fair enough
it is an award based on the regular season, the entire regular season, not one or 2 games toward the end. He was dominating against Wisconsin and Penn St from what I saw. And would seem based on the season it wasn’t a travesty for him to be there.
The thing about DL play they can be disruptive and impact a game without recording stats, that’s something you see on tape and neither of us have watched the tape. So I have no idea if that’s the case for Young in these games or if he was neutralized in the last couple of games. The scouts and draftniks that do watch tape say he was dominating so I’ll take their word for it. He should not have won the Heisman and was no where close to winning it, so why are you worried about if he deserved to be there or not?

The first game vs Wisconsin, who is playing in the Rose Bowl and ranked in the top 10, he had 5 tackles and 4 sacks vs Penn St which was a game for the division and a team that played in a NY6 Bowl, he had 5 and 3 in the B1G CG vs Wisconsin he had 4 tackles.

Seen many better than Chase Young and they never laid off a play.
Real good player, Heisman material no.

2 tackles 1 solo last night. So not a factor.

Lawrence should have been there

Michigan’s big tackle blocked his arse all over the field. Chase had 2 tackles, no sacks, no hurries the entire game. That’s it.
