Dr. Antonsen received her A.B. from the University of California at Berkeley, her M.A. from the University of Georgia, and her Ph.D. from the University of South Africa.

She was appointed to the faculty in 1962.

During her tenure at Wofford, Professor Antonsen was active in the Republican National Committee. She was very good friends with my Aunt who I have highlighted on this forum a few times .... and they really got along but they were on opposite ends of the spectrum.

My wife and I took my Aunt to her memorial and funeral.

Constance was a helluva woman. Mentored my wife a great deal and worked with her when she was very active in politics during the Reagan and GW Bush eras.

Cudos to you for bringing her to the forum's attention.
