If you want it certainly don't let my bias stand in the way! I honestly haven't owned or even held enough micro-brands to really have favorites.

If you want a GMT at least give the Glycine Airman a gander. They can be had for less than the Squale and the basic Airman design has been around as long as the Rolex GMT. The original design used a 3 hand movement but the hour hand was a 24 hour hand and with the rotating bezel it could track 2 time zones. The have modern versions of this and 4 handers as well to track 3 times zones, these are based on the ETA 2836 movement. This is a caller GMT not a traveler GMT but those movements aren't available in the under $1k watches.
