No. Playing CB is the hardest position to play outside of QB. WR’s know where they are going before the play. CB’s have to react to that and for the most part they are still in the same positions as the WR’s in man to man coverage.
Offensive schemes evolving and the rules being geared to help the offense make it seem like DB’s in general have gotten bad over the years.
