I'd just like to point out to all of our TDS folks.
No one from an Academy who has ended up pro material showed up to college thinking they were going to be.
They were all basically the equivalent of a guy like Jacob Hester. Dudes who were decent athletes coming out that managed to develop into potential pro-athletes in a manner no one predicted when they were 18.
Academies are never going to be a destination for 4 and 5 star highly recruited kids. But, there will always be those dudes who just end up late bloomers or, for some other reason are completely overlooked when they're 18.
And, frankly, as someone who used to support Army Recruiting command...…….a lot of you people in this thread don't understand that USAREC is as much about marketing the Army as a whole as it is about recruiting individual kids to the Army.
I guarantee you the Army paid more for this than they pay for probably ALL of this year's football team's education. And, ONE kid from Army making the NFL would still be worth more in terms of marketing.
