the teeing off and playing in order should all be abandoned in favor of ready golf. That should only be used in tournament play. I'm not aware of any etiquette regarding who pulls/replaces the pin... That just sounds dumb.
I don't get the rage about stepping in a through line, although I think that's mostly just pros.

I’ve played in several tournaments where we agreed to play ready golf. Get ready and hit the damn ball.
