LSU’s big rivalry was really against Tulane but Tulane made the colossal error in leaving the SEC in 1965; two years after Georgia Tech left the SEC. Both schools would probably admit that was an athletic shite grenade. Before Tulane left the SEC, and for decades after, their rivalry with LSU was very spirited and often bitter.

When we beat Oklahoma we can claim this. It’s unfortunate we won’t be able to claim the Clemson vs. South Carolina or Ohio St. vs Michigan.

I don't think you are understanding the point the OP was making. LSU owns the rivalries because we have beaten (or will have beaten) both sides of all these major CFB rivalries.

I was only pointing out what all LSU fans already know; LSU doesn’t really have an arch rival like many other SEC teams do. The closest thing LSU ever to an arch rival was at one time Tulane. Some would suggest Ole Miss as well but that game hasn’t had real meaning in decades; except for the one game when Eli Manning was QB for the Rebels. Granted, if Ole Miss became relevant again that game would immediately turn into a huge rivalry with LSU. However, as of today, LSU really doesn’t have a rival like the teams the OP listed. Just pointing out for some of the younger posters that may not know that the biggest rival LSU ever had was at one point Tulane.
