Exams are this week at LSU
Been a long season, they need week off, probably conditioning type work this week and weight room
Plus Burrow will be on awards circuit thru Sat night

Will get back to it after that and that's plenty of time to get ready for OU

Coach O said he was giving them the week off. Seems kinda odd. Are the other teams taking a week off?

The game isn't until the 28th. It's probably close to finals week as well.

The NCAA probably limits the number of practices you can have for a bowl

He is talking about official practices. You are only allowed 15 practices and it’s finals week. Gives the coaches a week to recruit, do some self scouting, and start on a game plan for Oklahoma. I’m sure the players will work on their own and the coaches trust that they will so they don’t have to force them to come to the facility this week.

Yeah let’s burn their legs out even more after playing 13 games.

If we start OU prep now and go non stop till Dec 28, these kids WILL burn out. This is the right call

I was sitting with my dad discussing a little bit about this last night.

People dont understand or think about what it takes to be a scholarship athlete, especially in football. 13 weeks is a physical and mental grind.

As the season goes on, you're more so working out to maintain weight, not gain it. A week off to heal and recover is more than needed.

They will get back after it Monday and treat it like week one. No doubt. Chill.

Coaches will be recruiting for the early signing period and analysts and some other non-recruiting coaches will be in the film room all day every day.

Yeah. That is what they need after a 15 week grind, 3 weeks of grueling practice

Yep ole Les would have had them in full pads doing the big cat drill for three weeks

Why would we care what the other teams do? All our coaches need to worry about is our team.
