We certainly have tendencies but the problem for defenses is no matter what they do we have an answer. With a QB like Burrow we have the pen last in the X and O matchup.

If you rush 3 and drop 8 Burrow has all day and our WRs are too good in the scramble drill for opposing DBs to cover that long.

If you send 4 and drop 7 and play zone now Burrow hits those 10-12 in breaking routes that Jefferson is so deadly on.

If you play M2M Burrow find the matchup he likes and gives his guy a chance. Our WRs are too good to be left on an island.

If you send 5 or 6 Burrow is just going to throw hot to Clyde or one of those quick slants and now you have a LB 1v1 with CEH or a safety or LB 1v1 with Jefferson or Moss. Burrow can also throw it deep in these situations because there will be no safety help.

If you try to play 2 high safeties all the time but use them as run fitters will RPO you to death. If you play 2 high and keep them deep you are 1 gap short in run fits.

This offense is so tough to stop bc Burrow is so darn efficient and smart with the football.

With a QB throwing almost 80%, it is near impossible to stop. See Brees and Brady. Even though the WR is covered pretty well, if you are accurate you can still get the ball to them.
