Go to OLOL and ask for a copy of the charges, letters or bills sent in an attempt to collect, any record of your insurance company denying coverage. Also go to your insurance company at the time and get an EOB for the claim. I strongly suspect OLOL either did not file with your insurance or misfiled the claim. At any rate, I would not pay the $1700 until either the attorney or OLOL can prove they have a legitimate claim.
