How far the losers fall in the committee rankings is where the excitement and conversation is gonna be IMO. How will Oregon and Auburn be ranked after last night? Will Wisconsin and Georgia both fall the same amount with both having bad losses? Where will Baylor end up after they've already been moved way down and then way back up?

Will be a fun day for all CFB fans. Tigers are sitting pretty either way IMO.
The committee’s Top 20 ranking system from week to week makes no sense. This eye test angle needs to be called what it is...personal bias. Results & SOS should matter more.

I think the good thing is that ga is already ahead of wiscy. The committee will want to prop up Ohio State by pumping up teams they played, but they can't drop ga below wisc and still try and appear objective. That said, if they maintain Ohio #1, you can bet bama and aub won't be bumped up, nor will cinnci fall far with a loss.

The top 20 eye test thing is just the committee trying to justify Ohio at #1.

After years of using that excuse for the SEC, I'm sure you guys will be ok with it going the other way for once.

That's exactly how it's gonna go if the committee stays consistent with their latest rankings. But, they've been wildly inconsistent so we'll see what's what tomorrow.

Honestly, I dont mind the eye test so much. Just be consistent week to week and say that. Dont try to explain it away with some made up comparison like defensive piece and top 19 wins.

The sec was that good. No one believies PSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota could beat UGA, Auburn, Florida or Alabama.
I have no problem with the eye test and OSU may be the best team in the country, but the propping of the "resume" is ridiculous

Probably true.
My eye test (personal bias) is that Fla, Aub and Bama would defeat most teams ranked higher than them now. Bowl games will settle that. LOL!
Clemson is PROBABLY a great team. After 12 games we certainly won’t find out today either against Va. Maybe the recipe for a Championship is to play ALL ACC teams. LOL
