Arik Gilbert is going to be a beast.

I watched him play last night and he reminded me of a young Julio Jones...long stride and speed and catches everything thrown his way. Projected TE, but I can see him losing a few pounds and being a great WR. He has all the tools. Also, Ujulari was all over the field and is the real deal at DE...fast, strong and aggressive. Both of them played both ways...we need to get them signed. Marietta is headed to the championship game and those two were the biggest factors. The QB, Bailey, also looked good and is committed to Tenn. Tall, a strong arm, quick release, but not much of a runner...had four or five TD passes...I quit watching at mid third quarter.

Yeah, they are both going to be major weapons for LSU. Can't wait to watch them in the purple and gold.

247 lists Arik at 6’5” 250lbs.
They also had Julio at 6’4” 220lbs.
If that is accurate Arik is one big MOFO.

Attended the game personally last night. Family in high school coaching in Atlanta. The kid will be playing Pro Ball by 2023. He played defense end last night at times and dominated there as well. 6’5”. 225 lbs. My contacts tell me that Coach O and Coach Ensminger are class acts and well respected in Georgia. Marietta plays next Friday for the state championship. Julio Jones comparison is spot on.
