LSU Offense
LSU total O ranking- #2

LSU O has faced an average defense of 56th in the nation.

Best defense faced to date- Florida #8
Second best- Auburn #16

UGA Defense
UGA total defense ranking- #6

UGA D has faced an average offense of 87th in the nation.

Best scoring offense faced to date: Notre Dame #14
Second best: Arkansas State #34

Bonus:
Everyone(other fan bases) likes to refer to the Auburn game when we face a good defense.

Consider these few things:
1. LSU put up 505 total yards on Auburn
2. LSU was 0-2 on 4th(one due to a slip)
3. LSU controlled time of possession and rushed for nearly 200 yards
4. The field was really poor due to inclement weather
5. Red zone play calling was abysmal, which has been addressed

In conclusion, as long as LSU doesn’t hinder themselves, they won’t have any issues scoring the football against UGA.

LSU wins 42-14

Agree on all accounts except the score. I'm thinking it'll be something like 38-21

Didn’t want to overload the post, but I believe our defense has found their groove. Aranda seems to have fixed our personnel issues.

Meanwhile, UGA is without their top two receivers, running back who is questionable, and Fromm has shown that without talent around him, he is a more attractive Christian Ponder.

If LSU gets a fast start, like they have most of the year, it will get ugly for UGA. Fromm having to chase the points is a recipe for disaster for that offense.

This game will be similar to Auburn and Florida in that the key is our ability to secure the pocket for Burrow. I expect Georgia to get home a couple of times and hurry or hit Burrow. If Burrow stays mostly clean throughout the day, though, he will eat that secondary alive. Marshall is going to have to step up in this one (or McMath). UGA will roll coverages to try to limit Chase and Jefferson as much as they can. Could be some good opportunities for Moss in the middle of the field, as well. I also don't think Georgia will have enough left once they try to account for all the WR patterns to really stop Clyde.

So, yeah I think they'll make it tough at times, particularly early in the game, but ultimately Clyde will gash them, our WR depth will start making an impact, and Burrow will get up after a big hit and go serial killer mode for the rest of the game. LSU by 18.

I think a fully healthy Georgia could seriously compete due to the great defense (although they have not seen an O like LSU's) and because of their stout rushing attack. However Georgia is far from fully healthy so I believe LSU wins this one 37-17. There is simply no way Georgia can match our offensive fire power. I would love for Joe & Co. to put up 45+ on this team just to leave no doubt who the best team in the country is. Geaux Tigers!
