Someone else and I were debating Confederate monuments in the SE the other day and Inwas surprised to learn that LA is down from 71 in 1980 to under 40 in 2019.
Georgia leads everyone with 101nand I think it's SC and NC after that. NC is declining fast. SC has picked up a few since 1980 and so has Texas. Florida was at or near the bottom at 20 I think. Can't quite remember where the others were but the info is in a thread about the Heritage Act protecting Confederate monuments around the South.
South Carolina passed the first one in 2000.
