I’ve always thought it was stupid to show people who are in exceptionally good shape in fitness equipment ads unless you show their journey.
The best fitness/athletic brand ad I ever saw was for Nike back during the 2012 Olympics. Showed a big old boy out for a jog, busting his arse sweating up a storm and it just showed that classic Nike logo and Just Do It.
I saw that ad 3 times 7 years ago and it still sticks with me as a great but of positive advertising. Compare that with how shitty their advertising is now.

The Peloton ad is hilarious because of how bad it is. I can’t believe people sat in a room and gave that the thumbs up.
Nothing is worse than William Gee commercials. He looks like he palsy.
