I'd go with:
1 Paterno
2 Bowden
3 McKay
4 Devaney
5 Osborne
6 Saban
7 Carroll
8 Royal
9 Bryant

Based on what. Paterno barely has a winning record vs top 25, way below 500 vs top 10, only 13 too 5 finishes vs Bobby's 14 in a row?

Vs top 10 teams is were Carroll, Saban, and Bryant seperate themselves. Saban has done it at two different schools, he has to be number 1 on any list by a mile. Every single metric shows that. If you wanna say you would take Carroll Ina single big game....sure you prolly should especially if later in the year. Take saban early.

But saban and Bryant have to be on top of any list when you start talking record vs top 25, vs top 10, conference championships, NCs etc.

Y'all are all nuts and emotional about this. Look at the data.

Here is a link that compares saban to the best all time. LINK
