Do you think public schools are a handout?

What about roads?

What about bridges?

What about the military?

What about libraries?

What makes something, a "handout"?

Moving the goalposts I see !

My grandfather paid for lunches of his 11 children , having as many as 8 in school at one time. He was a railroad worker and my grandmother never worked.

My parents had 4 boys , they paid for our lunches and refused discounts for having multiple kids playing things like Little League. My dad said he CHOSE to have four children and it was his responsibility.

My wife and I paid for our 3 boys if they wanted to eat lunch at school when they were in public school.

Now they are in private school and they take their lunches.
