"the defense sucks"

Look, obviously the defense hasn't been elite. We have taken some bad angles and we made poor tackles earlier in the year. My biggest frustration has been Aranda's limited blitz packages, but whatevs. Truth is, we have had to overcome a lot.
Losing Joseph right before the season hurt. Vincent is playing the roll he would have played.
Chaisson is coming off of a major injury and has missed time. People overlook this.
Todd Harris done for the year - some are underestimating this. He was poised to play a big role.
Divinity, sack leader, left the team right before the Bama game. Hopefully he's back for the title game.
Delpit has been knicked up. It looked obvious vs Ole Miss. Hopefully he is close to 100%
We still have tons of talent. I can't get over how good Stingly has been. I feel like the linebackers are getting better. If we can get a better pass rush I think we are going to see this defense play big down the stretch.

It doesn’t suck. They ply hard when they have too. Are you really as motivated when you are winning by 30 points as opposed to being up 3?

Please. Enough excuses already. You people have done this all season. 49th in the country and 9th in the SEC isn't where you need to be. Hell, every team has injuries. The simple truth is this defense is not very good, and neither is the "defensive genius" coordinator.

This defense is undefeated suck some arse with all that rank shyt. You win games by scoring more points than your opponent period.

So I guess you’ll give us some career stat comparisons showing how bad Aranda is? Surely you won’t pick an outlier season with injuries to our top 5 defenders and use that as a judgment on his entire career? You’ll also provide examples of other teams who’ve had their top defenders all injured to show that “everybody’s” going through what we are? You’ll also provide examples of you making these same comments about other coaches who’ve had down seasons, like Orgeron, so we know you’re not a hypocrite? Surely you wouldn’t be lying about all this just to push another stupid narrative? Not like when you said we’d win 4 games in 2017 or 7 last year. Since your assessments seem to always come true lol.

The defense has been very good at times and they’ve also been very bad at times. The good thing is when they have needed to make plays, they have. Also, when your offense scores 50 points a game, you don’t need a dominant defense.
With what is ahead, I am looking forward to seeing the defense raise their level of play.
