Did steele forget to coach his 1 year here too? His Auburn's D's have been great every year, but he sucked here.

Sometimes you just have a bad year due to anumber of factors. Of course not 100% of this is on Aranda, but he's certainly responsible for a good chunk of it.

Playing the D we did against end of Bama game was inexcusable when they had an 85 yard field with 1.5 minutes left and down 2 TDs. That had nothing to do with the offense. That was bad defense.

2nd half of Ole Miss game, how do you not figure out how to stop the same couple run plays over and over? Guys were missing tackles but we were also not lined up great on a lot of those plays either and 1 missed tackle and BOOM gone.

Still dont understand why people think Aranda is immune to criticism just because we're winning (due to the offense). We cant rush the passer, despit eus just needing Chaisson back, and he has 2 sacks this entire season. We are giving up 20-30+ points to a LOT of teams. We let a 4-7 team run for over 400 yards on us. We made Vanderbilt look competent offensively. Texas looked better against us than almost anyone they've played all season offensively and we always joke around about "LOL @ Big 12 defenses".

Just saying, but the defense has really just flat out not played well this year. It's 1 thing to have an anomaly game here, maybe there. Not every other week though.
