Just purchased God of War...

For $10 on PS Store. Was thinking about adding Red Dead 2. Looks like they want $30 is it worth it to buy now, or will God of War last some time?

GoW is a Top10 all time game for me. I've never played a game so polished and complete before the latest GoW.

I recently finished Horizon Zero Dawn, and it is my favorite game ever. I still play it here and there trying to get everything I can. Thanks for the heads up on RD2. I saw some of you talk about GOW, and figured $10 would be a good deal.
Any other must haves? I already did Spider-man, Fallout4, skyrim, Witcher3

If you do all of the side quests and hunt down all of the collectibles, then you can get 20 hours out of the game. Then replay at a higher difficulty. Might take a few extra hours replete with rage to finish the final Valkyrie.

Since HZD and Spidey are checked for you, maybe LoU: Remastered if you haven't?
Uncharted 4 isn't a terrible "game". However, it is a fun interactive movie. I'm not recommending, but might be for you. Just not my thing.

Before NG+ I believe I got 30hrs. I might have missed an armor set too.
I also farmed crafting material for one of those armors. That took up time.

I couldn't remember exactly how much time I spent. I got everything from the poison gas area and that can take some time. I don't think I maxed out the fire area. I opened up all of the fire areas and killed the Valkyrie but didn't complete the additional challenges after that.
I just replayed it a few months ago on NG+. Just as much fun as the first time I played it.

Coyote and Carson hate the Uncharted series. It is fantastic. I wouldn't start with 4 because it makes it real hard to go back and play 1 with the wonky controls. Having said that, you might not feel the urge to move to the next game after playing 1. Playing 4 made me want to play 1-3 but starting with 1 could have you pulling your hair out from time to time.
No game franchise in the history of gaming has a bigger leap in quality from Uncharted 1 to Uncharted 2. They fixed the wonky camera / controls and added a much better and longer story.
Uncharted 3 continued to refine the controls but the story wasn't as good. Uncharted 4 was a fantastic wrap up for the characters.

I hate it because it's just cutscenes. At times the game feels like it grabs the controller out your hands.

4 is a cut above the rest and was well-made at least. 1-3 didnt age worth a frick and were a pain to get through. it pains me to acknowledge that Amy Hennig wrote the first 3, considering she wrote the Legacy of Kain series (which is the best-written game series of all time). like going from writing Shakespeare to writing Matthew Mconaughey adventure schlock. the first 3 succeeded bc there was nothing like them at the time. when I played them (2016) they were just bleh
4 is mechanically sound and has the ND polish at least.

I think they probably rushed her with 3. A bit of a money grab but I still like it. Just not as good as 2.

I think I spent about 100 hours on GoW to Platinum it. Every second of that game was worth it. Have fun

I was very late to the game with Horizon Zero Dawn. Had next to no interest in playing it. I was wrong. So very wrong. Excellent game.

Yeah, a lot of posters who push Bloodborne fail to mention it's genre/playstyle.
It's not for everyone. Worth giving it a try though.
