How do you tell recruits’ parents we’re family and you’re gaining a son and then tell them to take a hike 3 weeks before early signing period and not lose future credibility

Does Bryant have a brother we don't know about or something? Sure it upsets things with the immediate player and family, but this ripple effect is unfounded as long as it's a limited occurrence.
