Sentrius, I know you’re still grappling with this, but maybe he’s right? Maybe it’s hard to beat a popular incumbent who is scandal free and pro-life and pro-gun in a VERY um...urban demographic.

Oh I’ve never said that he wasn’t formidable. Just that he was not invincible and was capable of losing and the opportunity was there.
GOP share of the electorate was at 52% in the first round.
Rispone was so terrible he managed to lose 3% of that in the runoff to drop to 49%.
That’s data the carpetbagger wants you to ignore to cover his arse.
