Ticketing being a clusterfrick did not help matters.
Went to Saints-Dolphins there and there were a ton of people filtering in late because they were having to get their Dome tickets exchanged for Tiger Stadium ones.
The whole dynamic there was just an abject disaster.
Most the fans were still in Katrina PTSD mode. You had Benson threatening to move to San Antonio. And the first game is fricking Nick Saban coming into Tiger Stadium. All to watch the death throes of the Haslett-Aaron Brooks pain train.
It was a perfect storm of barf.

Saints should play someone in TS at least one more time maybe Houston or Atlanta or Miami. It would be a great story seeing as the last time it happened Benson was considering moving to San Antonio and the city was underwater. It would be a testament to how far they’ve come. Not to mention it would be awesome for folks around Baton Rouge who can’t get to New Orleans can easily ride by and see their team play live and the renovations that expanded the stadium to 100K+ is very accommodating for an NFL audience.
