Well F me. I must have missed where the 10-0 football team was playing tonight too, or that anything remotely newsworthy about them was happening.
I was at the game and didn’t have that much of an issue with the attendance. Even a decent amount of students showed up. My issue is the energy of the crowd. Basketball is the most fast paced action of any sport, plus we are fun to watch again. So I don’t get just sitting on your hands and not being able to clap or cheer for anything happening attitude our crowd has. Hell, even the students in the 2nd half were cheering (even if sarcastically) and showing more energy for a player on the other team, than what they were for any of the players on their own team.
Did appreciate the energy and the effort of the new things the band was doing though. Hope they keep it up.
