Man, I was there in line at the Hirsch when Pantera was supposed to play in (94?) hirsch actually placed chairs in mosh pit area & band said they wouldn’t play if they kept them. Fire marshal wouldn’t budge, so concert was canceled & a nice little riot ensued outside. SHV mounted patrol was there to tamp down crowd, it was nuts. I think it made it on MTV news at the time.
