We are on Cloud 9 this week. O’s mission this week is to get us fired up and sharp for a dangerous Ole Miss team.

Too much veteran leadership to let that happen-they know what’s at stake

I will talk to the team at practice today and let them know your concerns.

It's personal with Coach O regarding Ol Piss. But LSU will face the best effort from all remaining team on the schedule.

I stick by the post. I think we win the game, but we have to be careful. That's All I am saying, and some of the responses blowing this off is exactly the type of over confidence that is priority number 1.

If LSU is a real championship team it beats OM.

My counter to your concern, listen and watch immediate post-Alabama game comments by Orgeron, Burrow.

They know this is a special squad, and have known while others catch up

This is a very, very good LSU football team that would have to beat itself to lose

We are fans. We don't play, but don't worry. I'll be ready to watch the boys whip some Ole Miss arse.

"We" meaning this message board has no bearing on the game

What have you seen from the team that makes you think they are overconfident?

What game this year did we not come out ready to play?
Maybe Northwestern?

Joe Burrow is about going out and executing. Joe Burrow is about beating every team in front of him. Joe Burrow is about dominating every opponent.

Joe Burrow is not some 18 year old kid riding an emotional high into the off-season. Joe Burrow is a 5th year senior who has the want, ability, and team around him to do some special things. And Ole Miss is in the way of those things.

They will be ready.

We coming.

I also think this is a special team with special coaches and team leadership. A 1-7 Falcon team skull stomped a 7-1 Saints team and emotion was the difference.

Stranger things have happened when very good Tiger teams have over indulged on the press clippings. OP is right. This is Ole Miss - a long standing enemy of LSU.
