People brag about the data available to the CFB committee

And how every stone is turned in the process.
Hope they look at the following in Bama's "5 point loss":
1) The chance of Bama winning throughout the game. LSU was near 90-95% most of the game
2) Waddle gets full credit for the TD, and that offsets the Tua fumble perhaps, but he benefitted by a freak spin to free him and direct him.
3) Also, the "analysts staff" gets full credit for the quick snap when Stingley was not ready.
4) Everyone who watches that game knows that while it is in thw record books as a 5 point deficit, LSU was dominant, aside from the beast RB Harris.
5) Bama was sloppy and unprepared, and needs to be detracted from an "eyeball test" and performance perspective.
Again, trying to give credit where it is due, but that damn committee better not trot out with Bama in the 4th spot with a "only loss by 5 to LSU" narrative.
If they do that, throw all the fancy data and committed logic out the window.

Get ready, because Bama will likely be 4th in the new CFP standings tonight. That said, expect that to change after the conference championship games are played.

I'm pretty sure they will be 5th and Georgia will be in at 4th.

Nah, I'm seeing a lot of support for Georgia to be 4 tonight. Two Top 15 wins and a horrible loss vs. Zero Top 25 wins and a "good" loss, if there is such a thing.
And I'm going off CFP rankings, not ranking when team played them.

Just keep reminding everyone that Bama never had the ball once with an opportunity to take the lead. They by definition had 0 opportunities to win.

If they are 5th, there is almost no way that they can get in. They'll be passed by both the Big XII and PAC XII champs provided they only have one loss. They could also possibly be passed by Minnesota as well.
Even if Bama is 4th and UGA is 5th, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Dawgs pass them if they hammer Auburn on Saturday.

No, I'm not joking.
