My issue is if they allow Bama in the playoff then then teams like Oregon have no reason to play a power SEC school.

If they would have played a cupcake then Oregon would be in the playoff (assuming they win out).

With that said LSU will be in a similar situation at some point in the future. Do we want to be left out even though we would be the better team.

I don’t think anyone feels Oregon is better than Bama. Is it the 4 best teams or the 4 most deserving teams?

I see the argument both ways. I don’t really have an issue playing Bama again AS LONG as when this happens to LSU in the future that it is viewed the same way by the committee.

I think we would beat them worse if we played them again in a neutral field.

Teams that are in the power five and do not win the division to say nothing about the conference championship should not be in the playoff. Essentially each conference game is just about an elimination game.

I do care at all about the PAC 12 or BIG 12 or ACC. The SEC and Big Ten are better and deeper. Clearly better and deeper than the ACC.

Having said that is these guys are actually power five conferences...they are... then how do you keep two of them out for a team that does not win the division

Conference champ game loser has a better argument.

Remember the last two top ten teams that Bama played. Have torched them for more than 40 points.
