re: The NCAA sucks - Memphis F/C James Wiseman ruled ineligible

This is on Penny and Memphis compliance for even letting Wiseman sign his LOI. Everybody who has a basic knowledge of NCAA amateur rules knows this is a major infraction. Penny should have been upfront and told the kid he wouldn't be eligible at Memphis and advise him to find a different school.

People can bitch about the NCAA all they want, but this is an example of the adults(Penny and Memphis) taking advantage of the kid for their own personal gain. It doesnt take a genius to know Penny has had his sights set on the Memphis job for a couple years and only got the job because he leveraged Wiseman with the administration.
