Found myself bidding on a few sets on ebay over the last few days. I have a current counter offer for 160. No games but comes with everything and 2 motion controllers.

Is it worth it at this point? I know it is suppose to be compatible with the ps5 correct?

Any opinions and thoughts will be appreciated.

Its pretty awesome.

It's an entry level budget VR set but I've had some of my favorite gaming experiences of all time on it (RE7, NMS, Beat Saber, Farpoint, SkyrimVR, Blood & Truth)

it's not as good as the high end PC VR systems, but for the price, it's a pretty amazing experience and I love it.

Absolutely.

Super hot VR is one of my favorite gaming experiences ever.

Beat Saber is phenomenal also.

I'm too much of a pansy to finish RE7 but it was absolutely insane on VR if you can do it.

Also games like astrobot blew my mind. It is a super fun platformer

I would say it's a great way to get your feet wet with VR if you're interested and have a PS4 already. If you really enjoy it, you can decide if you want to do something high end down the road with a PC (or whatever the PS5 eventually brings).

I was skeptical when I bought mine and was ready to return it if I wasn't impressed, and that was a year ago. I've had some of my most memorable gaming experiences of my life on it: Beat Saber, Astrobot, Moss, No Mans Sky, Super Hot, and Skyrim have all impressed in various ways.

Not if a large part of your reason for getting it is PS Vue.

Some people enjoyed watching PS Vue through their PS VR. PS Vue is shutting down at the end of January.

It was a jab at Sony for shutting down PSVue instead of marketing it well.

I don't play mine as much as I did when I first got it but it's still incredible every time I fire it back up.

Resident Evil was the most unique gaming experience I've ever had. I don't know if I've ever been that "scared" in real life. I've had people try it out and quit 30min in

As mentioned.. Blood and Truth (#1 recommendation),Beat Saber, Superhot, Astro bot are all really fun. $160 is solid considering people were paying $100 alone for the motion controllers a few months back.

Nobody is buying the PSVR just to use it to watch TV.

I use my quest from time to time to watch youtube before sleep and pretty much always get annoyed to the point I just turn on the tv.

I see people always say the PSVR is a good starter kit for VR but I don't see that the other expensive options have a plethora of good games. Sure the quality of the picture is better but at the end of the day, who cares. Most of the best VR games are on the PSVR. Until they start churning out top notch PC VR, I don't see a reason to own anything else.

Not sure why RE7 still hasn't made its way to the vive.
