It's been previously established in other threads that he is an LSU fan. He started following us years ago and he's used the term "we" for a while when talking about LSU on his podcast.

This is not the first time he has mentioned his LSU fandom. He’s more of a casual fan, but we do seem to be his favorite team.

He definitely follows LSU and has said so on numerous occasions when talking college football.
I believe it was Les Miles' willingness to go for broke which made Burr a fan.
