Oh yeah, because one is a medical professional and does it in a sterile environment, while the other was a drug addict injecting illegal drugs into herself with dirty needles.
Say what you want about abortion, but there is a difference between this and getting a medical abortion by a licensed physician. If you say otherwise, you are just letting emotions get the best of you.
Oh my goodness, you're right.
What she did was totally reckless. By conducting a functional abortion on herself without proper training and instruments, she ran the risk of :gasp: killing the child.
Or killing herself.
Either way, why do you care?
And you didn't answer my question. Was the woman wrong because she killed her child, or because she didn't kill her child the way that our civilized and polite society prefer that she kill the child?

Yes to both. I look at it as legal vs. illegal. Abortion is currently legal. Taking illegal drugs and killing your child isn't If you don't like it, vote in different politicians who will make changes or run yourself.
FYI: I'm against abortion too, but whether I like it or not, it is legal.
ETA: Currently legal
